My teacher tried to pull my top down in class?

You need a clue? I'll give you a clue, you should go to the police and press charges on this whack job, then take it to the principal. She assaulted you in front of witnesses, she obviously shouldn't be teaching in the first place, And yeah, you may want to let it slide, but your silence will impact all other students that sit in that class after you, and she may do even worse than that to them. Not only do you have assault charges against her, but you have the makings of a mighty fine sexual harassment suit, and she has done something to you that hurt your self esteem and harmed and humiliated you. Yeah, it takes an effort to change something that needs to be changed, but what she did was entirely unacceptable, and if you don't take it up she will abuse others the same way or maybe even worse thinking that she can get away with it. You are now afraid of speaking up because she might give you a bad grade in retaliation? She shouldn't be there to give anybody grades in the first place, and worrying about how she might retaliate is part of the cycle that will keep her abusing children. If a teacher thinks a child is dressed inappropriately the *only* acceptable behavior is to write her up and send her to the principal's office to be disciplined accordingly. She assaulted you in front of witnesses, you shouldn't even bother to take your mom to talk to her, you should get a lawyer, press charges, and take your mom to talk to the principal. You won't have to worry about bad grades from someone who is fired and doesn't work there anymore, and she should be fired for this kind of abuse. In addition to charging her with assault and sexual abuse, there may also be reason to charge her with illegally searching you. You have every right to your own dignity, and this nut needs to be gone! Don't dally asking other teachers if you should or not, you should take it right to the police and the school principal, period, and shame on your mom for not doing so already!
