Air Traffic Control - Air Force?

I went to MEPS about a month ago and spoke with my liaison about my job choices and chose 7 jobs. My second choice was ATC, and about a week ago got a call from my recruiter that I am going to Boot Camp in September, and I got Air Traffic Control. I was wondering if this is a good job to have. If anyone happens to know someone or be an ATC, what you have to say about it. I am female and was wondering why there are not many women with this job. I understand it is a very stressful but is it also enjoyable?
