Air force. what does it take to get your job guaranteed to you?

I want to get my job as an ATC reserved. I read online that you must have a high score to get the job guaranteed to you... but then how does it happen? does the recruiter tell you that he will guarantee you the job? or must you tell him that you want to reserve a job? I got a 76 on the asvab. English scores messed me up. my recruiter also told me that i got a 95 on the electronics score if that could help me in any way? thanks, please be nice, no rude comments ima noob =]
